About TIE / TIE단체

TIE (Teachers for Integration through English) is a non-profit organization founded by teachers whose principal goal is to reach out to North Korean refugees residing in the Seoul area. Our all-volunteer team of professional teachers has come together in hopes of further integrating North Koreans into South Korean society by providing free English instruction.

TIE는 서울지역에서 거주하고 있는 탈북자 분들에게 한 걸음 다가가고자 하는 목적을 가진 한인 및 외국인 선생님들이 설립한 비영리 성인영어 교육단체입니다. 저희 단체의 자원봉사 강사들은 여러 국가에서 각기 다른 배경을 가지고 온 분들로서, 수년간의 강사경험을 가지고 계십니다. 영어 지도를 통해 북한과 남한의 더 깊은 이해와 통합을 희망하며 영어전문 강사들이 자원하였습니다.
